On January 25, 2025 at about 12:20 AM, personnel of Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), Sampaloc Police Station (PS-4) led by PMAJ GIL JOHN L LOBATON, under the leadership of 𝗣𝗟𝗧𝗖𝗢𝗟 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘 𝗙 𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗔𝗢𝗔𝗖, Station Commander, conducted a buy-bust operation in Sampaloc, Manila that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and the recovery of the following pieces of evidence, forty-four (44) pieces MARIJUANA brick containing dried leaves with fruiting tops wrapped in transparent plastic believed to be MARIJUANA, one (1) piece genuine five-hundred-peso with twenty (20) pieces of fake/counterfeit Five Hundred peso bill (Buy bust money); and one (1) yellow sack labeled with “PREMIUM HOG STARTER FEEDS” with markings ACA ND 1-25-2025 with signature.

The seized suspected MARIJUANA with a total weight of MOL 44,000 grams and with SDP of Php 5,280,000 will be subjected to laboratory examination at the Manila Police District Forensic Unit (MPDFU). Meanwhile, the arrested drug personality was brought to the custodial facility of Police Station 4, MPD while documents were being prepared for the filing of appropriate charges in court.
