The Manila Police District under the leadership of PBGEN ARNOLD THOMAS C IBAY, District Director is proud to make public the Weekly Accomplishment Report of MPD in the spirit of public transparency and access to public information.

On March 31 to April 6, 2024, multiple police operations were conducted in various parts of MPD that resulted in the arrest of 28 suspects in possession of 40.81 grams of shabu and 3 grams of marijuana with an estimated standard drug price value of Php 277,868.00. Additionally, a total of Php 9,678.00 bet money was confiscated from illegal gambling activities involving 51 suspects. Likewise, 121 arrests were made in the Wanted Persons list and 13 firearms were seized from 13 arrested suspects from the operations against loose firearms.

Violators of various city ordinances and special laws were also apprehended. Smoking and drinking in public places had the highest number of violators at 2,558. Other city ordinances with arrested violators include 148 obstructions, 923 half-naked, 377 minors violating curfew and 3 urinating in public. Further, there were 683 citations made on traffic law violations and 23 other city ordinance.
