The Manila Police District under the leadership of PBGEN ARNOLD THOMAS C IBAY, District Director is proud to make public the Weekly Accomplishment Report of MPD in the spirit of public transparency and access to public information.

On April 21 to 27, 2024, multiple police operations were conducted in various parts of MPD that resulted in the arrest of 50 suspects in possession of 103.76 grams of shabu, 16 grams of Marijuana and 4.5 grams of Kush with an estimated standard drug price value of Php 714,238.00.

Additionally, a total of Php 12,754.00 bet money was confiscated from illegal gambling activities involving 69 suspects. Likewise, 99 arrests were made in the Wanted Persons list and 14 firearms were seized from 14 arrested suspects from the operations against loose firearms.

Violators of various city ordinances and special laws were also apprehended. Smoking and drinking in public places had the highest number of violators at 2,499. Other city ordinances with arrested violators include 158 obstructions, 2,360 half-naked, 462 minors violating curfew and 13 urinating in public. Further, there were 602 citations made on traffic law violations and 202 other city ordinances.
