The Manila Police District under the leadership of π£ππππ‘ ππ₯π‘π’ππ π§ππ’π ππ¦ π ππππ¬, District Director is proud to make public the Weekly Accomplishment Report of MPD in the spirit of public transparency and access to public information.
On July 21-27, 2024, multiple police operations were conducted in various parts of MPD that resulted in the arrest of 33 suspects in possession of 129.2 grams of shabu and 2.5 grams of ecstasy with an estimated standard drug price value of Php 889,760.00. Additionally, a total of Php 23,801.00 bet money was confiscated from illegal gambling activities involving 89 suspects. Likewise, 55 arrests were made in the Wanted Persons list and 17 firearms were seized from 17 arrested suspects from the operations against loose firearms.
Violators of various city ordinances and special laws were also apprehended. Smoking and drinking in public places had the highest number of violators at 3,559. Other city ordinances with arrested violators include 101 obstructions, 1,793 roaming the streets without shirts, and 99 minors violating curfew. Further, there were 533 citations made on traffic law violations and 182 other city ordinances.
